Team RV Flies at MAFSAC 2010

May 15, 16 2010 marked Team RV's first invitation to MAFSAC, The Mid-Atlantic Fly-In & Sport Aviation Convention held at Lumberton, NC KLBT. 13 members of Team RV arrived at LBT by 1330 on Friday. After getting settled we launched into the box for a practice session. Great hospitality and organization by the folks at MAFSAC had a large portion of the Team in the hotel pool pretty quickly after practice. (Boy was it HOT!) On Saturday May 15th Team RV was the lead off act immediately following the National Anthem. Look here in the References to see what David Barker, Show Director of MAFSAC thought of Team RV. In our usual video debrief of the performance, the consensus was that Alpha Flight, (the aerobatic formation flight) put in their most consistent performance of the year to date. The local newspaper, The Robesonian, had a reporter covering the show Sara Hottman, her article and a photo of Team RV made the front page of the Sunday issue. Sara also took a media ride with the Team Sunday morning. George Cline ran a good show as Air Boss and Hugh Oldham of was a great announcer as always. Team RV enjoyed our time at MAFSAC 2010! We're now looking forward to our next performance at PDK Good Neighbor Day in Atlanta, on June 5th.
